Accused of sexual harassment by an employee, the CEO of an online education firm who is out on bail, allegedly denied the complainant entry into the office for filing charges against him.  Bangalore Mirror report by Praveen Kumar states that the victim has filed another complaint with the Karnataka State Women’s Commission on Friday, October 28.  The victim in her complaint said that in the last six months the CEO of Global Shiksha India Pvt Ltd, Chander Prakash Garg constantly made inappropriate comments and allegedly threatened to strip her in his cabin. Many female employees were harassed and humiliated, she alleged.  Of the 60 employees in the firm 15 are women. She was allegedly made to work late nights and no transportation was provided, reported BM.  No action was taken when she lodged a complaint with the board of directors. The complainant alleged that the company did not have a sexual harassment committee or a grievance cell. “He [Garg] makes inappropriate physical contact with me in front of others [which is highly disrespectful and humiliating]. But things went out of control after he used abusive, vulgar, sexually explicit and threatening language,” she said. Koramangala police registered a case against Garg for sexual harassment on October 26. He was released on bail after being produced before the court. “I was shocked to know he was out on bail. On Friday, I approached the Karnataka State Commission for Women and filed a complaint. He doesn't let me enter office and has even asked a senior manager to tell other employees to keep away from me,” she said.
